Disaster

In times of wellbeing and prosperity, most all are happy. People have money, comfort, and shelter. We can mostly manage ourselves, and so we do. Everyone minds their selves, and ignore others. We live in our own little world, and we are fine with that. This is the American world.
But, with just one event, everything and everyone changes.
We all come out and help out brothers and sisters, we all come together, and we all stop our isolation, after a disaster. If there is a tree in the road, everyone with a chainsaw comes and helps. If there is a destroyed, everyone gathers and helps. If there is no power, you can find carts, going around with cold water and hot food. Sacrifice becomes the model of the community. When help is needed, we all respond.
