The questions we ask

What power rules us?
Being a Christian, the obvious answer is God. But, the more you thing, the more is may seem different than the first thought. Yes, God rules the entire universe, but he gave us all free will. He controls circumstances around us, but we make our own decisions. He doesn’t control us like a puppet master, but with a guiding force, and allows us to choose whether or not we follow it.
How well do we even know ourselves?
Most of us think we know who we are, but it may be different than we think. How can we know ourselves unless we ether are told, which is unreliable, or we can sit down, and just think. Think of all we do, think, and say, and what we don’t do and thing and say. The person we all think we are may be different from what others think.
To what extent can we be sure of anything?
This is a complicated question with a certain answer. There are very few things we can be certain of. Only God’s word, we not be here on earth forever, and that we live now, and that we cannot be certain. We depend on certain truths and parts of life that we think will never change. This is something that we all do, but these things are rarely permanent. They will all almost certainly change.
