Bored
I’m bored, I’m bored, so bored,
I decided to blog ‘cause I’m bored,
I wish I was home, or at a fun place,
But I’m not, I’m just not, so I’m bored.
I’m bored, I’m bored, so bored,
I decided to blog ‘cause I’m bored,
I want to have fun or make a funny face,
But I can’t, I just can’t, so I’m bored.
I’m bored, I’m bored, so bored,
I decided to blog ‘cause I’m bored,
As I sit and I type while in a quiet place,
No noise, no fun, so I’m bored.
I’m bored, I’m bored, so bored,
I decided to blog ‘cause I’m bored,
Im getting less bored, because of this rhyme
I type and I type, ‘cause I’m bored

Stuff
In life, we are always getting or wanting stuff. We want the newest computers, the nicest car, the biggest house, and the fattest wallets. We are always trying to compete with the Johnsons (or out due our neighbors). We live thinking we are judged by what we have. We all want to have more attention than the next guy, but this is wrong. If this is our focus, then we must rethink our lives. Our focus should be on god, and then we will get those things. If we have good lives, then that is what we are judged by, not our possession.

Personal Characterization
In one boy's house, there is a blue room. The walls are blue, the bed is blue, and even many books he has red are blue. which although it sounds depressing; it is actually quite a decent room. The blue is quite calming, but the room is in contrast. Between the calming walls is a messy, random room. It doesn’t seem to have any real organization, and is near chaotic. Then, there is the boy whose room this is. He is a happy, energetic 17-year-old, who enjoys nearly everything in life. He is rarely sad, and easily excited. Regardless of the strong contrast, this room is very calming for him. it is the perfect home for him to rest in.

Worst first pain
When I was young, I lived in Henderson, Kentucky. It is a fairly small town, and it had many parts in a state of disrepair. For example, my sidewalk was comprised of numerous concrete slabs, not one parallel with the other. I literally had to make about 3 about ½ foot jumps on my bike to get to one of my friend’s house. I did this nearly every day, and I had the path you had to take to have fun known by heart. There was a certain way where you could hit every ramp to its fullest, and I almost never crashed, until that faithful day. As I was going up my favorite slab, one of the only ones that was whole and still made a ramp, it happened. I’m not sure why, but my bike turned sideways in mid air, causing me to land on my side, and slide on the ground a bit. I was literally gushing blood from my knee, forehead, elbow, and a bit on the side of my head. I was in so much pain that I had to be carried to my mom’s house. I passed out from one point, and I was pale from blood loss. I was scared out of my mind.

Nervousness
In life, there are many hard choices. Some may major life turning events, while others may be minor things. Most all of us have been nervous many times, apprehensive about our decisions. We get nervous about choices very often, even minor ones. We must learn to be brave, and must be willing to take the first steps. In the end, overcoming nerves can have a major, probably positive impact on one’s life.

The Dead Poets society
This movie is one of, if not the, most inspirational movies I have ever seen. After that movie, I have a new view of poetry, because of that one teacher, and he doesn’t even exist. He taught with very unorthodox means, in a very structured school. He had inspired students more deeply in his half of a year than any other teacher has probably done in their entire lives. I really wish I could live the life of one of the boys, if only for a day. I actually feel bad that the movie is over. I wish people could be more like him, including me. That movie is easily the best movie I have ever seen, and I know that it will stay around for many many years to come, and if you have never seen it, you are truly missing out.
Funny one liners
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
You laugh because I'm different...........
I laugh cause I just farted!
What are the three words guaranteed to humiliate men everywhere?
'Hold my purse.'
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.
Energizer Bunny arrested, charged with battery.
I told the doctor I broke my leg in two places. He told me to quit going to those places.
If your wife wants to learn to drive, don't stand in her way.
Everybody wants to go to heaven; but nobody wants to die.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.
Worst excuse for not turning in homework: The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

The White Wolf
A while back, I went to the Evansville Zoo with my mom and little brothers. I didn’t really expect to be overly entertained by the visit, but I went with them. While there, we saw a few things that hadn’t been there last time I went. I liked some of the things I saw, but there was one that got me more than the rest. While my little brothers went through some tunnels through the groundhog exhibit, I was looking at something a bit bigger. I stood in amazement at the alpha wolf of a pack of white wolfs. I knew that he was because he had the purest white fur, as white as snow. He sat in the most proud of stances, just like in a movie. His fur bushed out, making him seem much bigger than he was. I had never seen a zoo animal look so majestic. I almost wish I could go in with him, but if I did, the very same beauty that I once marveled over would kill me. That makes him all the more majestic.
My favorite place
My favorite place is not a physical place at all. It is a place where my worries are relieved, my hopes are strengthened, and my faith is furthered. I find things of myself that I never knew, I find things I need to improve, good things I do daily that I don’t even realize, and things I want to do someday soon. This place is one I cannot describe, because it is not there, yet it is always available for me to go to. I do not know the smells, because I am there, but not there. I do not know the sights, because my eyes are closed while I am there. I know not the sounds and I do not know even where exactly it is. I cannot touch anything there, but I know it feels like home.
When I am there, I feel relief, I feel strengthened, and I feel loved beyond all other places. It is the place I go every chance I get, yet it is not enough. It is a place of rest, of happiness, of peace. At the end of my time there, I feel fulfilled. It is the beginning of all, and the end of those who go there often. This place is my favorite place.
This is the place of prayer.
