So far, I like this much more than the typical view of Frankenstein’s monster. This monster is just like a person, but he is simply misunderstood. He is like a child who has been forced to learn everything own his own, and yet he has succeeded in this. He is actually somewhat wise, regardless of his lack of typical education. I enjoy his ability to speak, this has made the book so much better. I love the monster, and think that Hollywood had one thing right. Frankenstein is a monster. Not the monster, but the man.
